Hi, I'm Christina
Writer & researcher exploring plastic waste, circular economy, and the everyday choices that shape a more sustainable world.
My Story
I'm a sustainability researcher and writer based in Malaysia, with a Master's in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies from National Dong Hwa University, Taiwan. My work sits at the intersection of behavior and policy, I'm deeply fascinated by why people choose (or resist) more sustainable habits, and what it actually takes to build systems that make the circular choice the easy choice.
My research has taken me from community engagement on plastic waste management in Kuala Lumpur, to choice-experiment studies on Malaysian recycling preferences, to co-authoring work on community-based plastic waste initiatives across Asia. I write to make these questions accessible — translating data and fieldwork into stories about how communities are rethinking waste, and what circular economy really looks like on the ground.
